Porkbusters hit paydirt
Capt. Ed Morrissey writes about the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 tonite:
Senator Tom Coburn’s office has announced that the Senate has just passed a new bill to replace the language of the original S.2590, which establishes an on-line searchable database for federal spending. This action will expedite the legislative process and may put the bill on President Bush’s desk by tomorrow:
Outstanding news! The Porkbusters in general have rewritten the book on how the common citizens can effect true change and reform in the federal government and they’ve got a lot to be proud of. Well done, all of you!
