Indiana Rep. Julia Carson dead at 69 of lung cancer
Representative Julia Carson (D-IN) died yesterday of lung cancer. She was 69. Cancer appears to be a great equalizer, striking without regard to race, politics, economic status or fame. It is equally devastating to the families of those people, and to Congresswoman Carson’s family I extend my deepest sympathies.
