Off topic and generally clueless comment
My recent post regarding the Lakota withdrawal from treaties with the US has generated an incredible amount of traffic, surpassing the hit count on any other post I’ve done here, bar none. It’s also generated a fair amount of commentary that’s stayed pretty much on topic and surprisingly devoid of the kind of flame war this type of topic can generate. (Kudos to you guys for keeping it that way.)
Or, rather, it was doing that, right up until this guy:

That Fred Thompson banner needs to go, he’s about as ridiculous as Romney.
Yeah, that’s a compelling argument. Well, “Jonathon” (how’s the San Diego area doing?), even if I were to grant that he is (Which I don’t.), he’s still not as ridiculous as comments like yours. Nice going.
In order to keep the conversation on that Lakota post relevant and thoughtful, I’ve removed that comment. But I certainly didn’t want to deny old Johnny-boy his time in the spotlight so I thought I’d better just make a whole post for his… uh… insight.
