What's Martian for "Incoming!"?
There’s a 1 in 75 chance that a chunk of rock about the same size as the one that caused the Tunguska event in 1908 is going to strike Mars on 30 January. That doesn’t sound like much, but considering that the odds the astronomers usually work with are hundreds, thousands, and even millions to one, 75-to-1 is pretty good odds.
If it hits, it’ll explode like a 15 megaton bomb. Guess we’ll see.

if we knew this, did someone have the foresight to get a probe in position to get pictures of this event, and where is Rover in relation to where this is going to happen?
