Homeward bound again
Here I am in an airport again, this time on a Delta Connection/ComAir flight. We’re coming home from a wedding where I got to see my neice – looking every bit the paragon of beautiful brides – marry a fine young man I’m proud to have in my extended familt tree. It was a good weekend with stellar weather.
But now I return home and turn my thoughts and energies to this election, this most crucial decision the country will make. It will be a fight all the way to the ground and, possibly, a bit beyond. i had the chance to talk with a few people these past few days who were undecided or leaning Obama. Will it make a difference? Unknown. But I had risen to the call to try whenever and whereever I could. I have done all that I could. Tomorrow, I will work outside of the polls and offer up my last shots. Then, my fellow Americans, we shall see.
