Funny how with Dems “keeping politics out of it” is only important when it’s their initiatives they want passed.
It also translates into “to hell with your objections, just vote the way we bloody tell you to vote.” Obama’s never shown more than a willingness to spout rhetorical flourishes when he claims he’s “considering the concerns” of the opposition. His admonition to “keep politics to a minimum” is preaching he’s never practiced.
Don’t take my word for it. Go look at his record and ask yourself when he has ever reached across the aisle to vote in any fashion other than the way the Dem leadership told him to. Good luck finding an example because it just doesn’t exist. For someone with his record of following the political line rather than engage in any type of bipartisanship – and that word, in the vernacular of the press and the Left, means “voting as your opposition party is voting” – he’s not in any position to be chiding anyone over their inclusion of politics into their decision mix.
