Twins in different years
A set of twins born in Rochester, MI have a rather unique distinction even among twins. They were born on different sides of midnight on New Year’s Eve, meaning that 1 of them was born December 31, 2008 and the other January 1, 2009.
Both are doing well, which is the main thing, but here’s a question for the tax lawyers. Do the parents get to claim both kids on their taxes or just the 1 born in 2008? Hmmmmm.
