Now this is a snowstorm

While not up to the standards of a snowstorm in Minnesota or Wisconsin, what hit here starting last night and continuing on at this moment undeniably qualifies. Schools are all closed and I don’t think anyone’s arguing that fact. (Of course, we haven’t heard from the President yet.) As of about 7:45am today, this was what the view looked like outside my window:

The visibility is low because the snow’s still coming down at a pretty good clip. I notice a plow’s been through once but just about everything is closed. (Local schools are closed, government offices are either closed or on “delayed arrival” policies.)

I guess I’ll get to fire up my “new” power show shovel.

I love the photo….it was not that different in my neighborhood in Centreville. I presume you live in Loudoun….how much snow did you get?
