Imagine , if you will, the cocking of my nine millimeter mere feet from my head as I jolted from sleep. Wife had heard something outside, and had grabbed the pistol, loaded the mag and cocked it to go check it out.
Upon realizing the situation, I did relax and actually kinda smiled a little bit at her comfort level with it all.
