Can McAuliffe be trusted to abide by Virginia law?
Bearing Drift asks the interesting question after the RPV responded to one of McAuliffe’s statements during Tuesday night’s debates. McAuliffe apparently made the boast that he had “gone into states like Florida — right-to-work,” … “And hired all union workers.” McAuliffe is clearly saying he chose to employ or deny workers based on their union membership status. The RPV statement cited relevant parts of Florida law that make such a practice illegal. They then cite the parts of Virginia law that basically do the same thing and wonder whether McAuliffe can be trusted to abide by Virginia law when he, by his own admission, failed to follow Florida’s laws.
Excellent question and one the voters of Virginia should be asking for answers regarding.
