Democrats in House vote to take money from American troops and hand it over to the IMF

And House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) says – on the floor and on the record – that the money given to the IMF could wind up in the pockets of regimes hostile to the US and supportive of terror organizations. Read this story over at Bearing Drift for the details and the video of Hoyer’s open admission.

We are incurring massive, crushing debt right here at home and we’re handing cash over to an international organization who has no responsibility to the US taxpayer so that they can bail out foreign banks, companies, and countries whether it’s in our best interests or not.

And the Democrats in the House think that’s a great idea. Keep in mind, as you ponder that thought, the White House’s efforts at silencing or hamstinging the inspectors general who are supposed to be both independent of the White House and watching out for our interests against corruption and abuse in our own government.

The Obama administration is blinding the people’s watchdogs as he’s diverting taxpayer money to agencies not controlled by the United States. Something’s definitely not right here.

  3. Are the culprits coming out of the woodwork now?
Put a watchdog in an area of questionable intent and then throttle or do away with them if they report the situation or raise too much interest with their results. Shades of Iran! Make the watch dogs accountable for their statements but do not punish them for doing their jobs!
are we getting too close to the stench and improprieties of our own systems? Are we too close to pointing out the stench of our own dirty laundry? We should rather put forth a verifiable reason for the removal of the watch dogs or re-instate them with a commendation for doing their jobs well. Why not create an incentive package that rewards the people in question moniterialy so that the better they perform their jobs the more they are rewarded and the deeper the questions and effort on the part of the participants to justify themselves beginning with the President of these United States.
