WH: public option healthcare eligibility verification “something we’d work out with Congress.”
Coming under fire over the lack of eligibility verification measures in the current front-runner Obamacare bill, H.R. 3200, the White House is starting to be more explicit in their stance.
“Illegal immigrants would not be allowed to access the exchange that is set up,” Gibbs said. Verification requirements are “something we’d work out with Congress,” he said.
OK. So, let’s hear the idea and let’s get this “worked out with Congress” now.

I believe the quote I’ve used references White House Press Secretary Gibbs as the person speaking, so I’d have to assume the “he” is referring to Gibbs.

“He said”? Is this Obama or a spokesman?
